Several pastes or liquids or one liquid with one or more pastes or powders are mixed using separate thin walled, pref. tin foil, sealed bags for each component. These are fastened inside a tube-like elastic container, pref. along the seam of a weldable plastic tube. The bags are brokern by rolling and/or kneading the tube mixing the components. Pref. the tube is passed between a pair of rollers which are controlled via a measuring instrument which gives a acoustic or optical signal, when mixing is complete. Used in dentistry for silicon rubber, plaster etc. mixts. used for modelling gums or teeth.
