PURPOSE: To satisfy the advantages of a loop system and a reciprocating system exclusive of material jumping. CONSTITUTION: The automatic picking facility for wire coils is constituted by disposing equipments 6 and 7 for pickling, rinsing, lubricating film treating, drying and loading and unloading the wire coils 5 to and from C-hooks 9 below looped conveyance rails 2 and performs the pickling and lubricating film treating of the wire coils 5 which traveling along the conveyance rails 2 by means of a conveyance machine 8 of a C-hook non-separation type having an elevating mechanism. C-hooks are orthogonal with the traveling direction of the conveyance machine 8. Accordingly, the distances between the loop centers can be made compact and building areas can be made smaller and therefore the output can be increased by the increase in the number of treating vessels in spite of the equal quality. In addition, the kinds of the film treatment can be increased. The installation of driving sections for vibrating machines, coil rotating devices, high-pressure cleaning devices, or the like, on the outer side of the conveyance rails is eventually made possible and a maintenance characteristic can be improved.
