PURPOSE: An automatic chain welding apparatus using electric resistance is provided which lowers price of products by increasing production speed while miniaturizing the automatic welding apparatus for welding the long diameter part of a chain, and secures safety in advance by improving reliability of the welding portion. CONSTITUTION: The automatic chain welding apparatus using electric resistance comprises a welding machine(70); a transfer part(1) which is installed at the upper area of the welding machine(70), which suppresses vibration generated by free falling of the chain and transfer operation of the chain by guiding and inserting a chain that is an object to be welded, thereby properly pressing the chain, and which removes excessive proceeding generated as the results of rapid speed change due to intermittent movement; a fixed part(2) which is installed at the lower area of the transfer part(1), and which strongly clamps the welding part of the chain transferred by the transfer part(1) so that the welding part of the chain is fixed in a stable position for welding; a pressing part(3) which is installed at one side of the transfer part(1) so that the pressing part(3) secures welding construction by pressing the chain fixed to the fixed part(2); an electrode part(4) which is installed at one side of the pressing part(3) so that the electrode part(4) conveys an electrical current transformed to low voltage large current to the chain pressed by the pressing part(3); and a cutting part(5) which is installed at the lower area of the fixed part(2) so that the cutting part(5) cuts the chain that is electric resistance welded by the electrode part(4) to a desired length set from a control panel(71).
