PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic musical composition device which is capable of forming a music having a high degree of completion in the time meeting the length of videos in synchronization with the videos, an automatic composition method, an automatic composition program and a memory medium. SOLUTION: The data corresponding to the number of bars which corresponds to the number of bars necessary for forming a melody is acquired and the melody is formed in accordance with the data corresponding to the number of bars and the data for formed the melody. The tempo of the melody is finely adjusted and a retardando or fermata is inserted in such a manner that the melody length of the formed melody and the required time of the videos coincide with each other, thereby, the melody length is adjusted.
