<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing method capable of enlarging a digital image, while keeping the quality. SOLUTION: This image processing method is composed of a step of mapping pixels corresponding to a map of an edge of an digital original image (first digital image) to a map of an edge corresponding to the finally obtained digital image (second digital image) by an interpolation method, applying a block as a basic element, a step of copying pixels, corresponding to a smooth area of the first digital image to an area corresponding to the second digital image, and a step of spacially filtering the second digital image, to provide the information on remaining pixels of the second digital image.</p> |
