PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To recognize dimensions of an object from image data provided, by photographing the object of a simple shape existing under natural light or under normal lighting, and to output them as a three side drawing, for example. SOLUTION: A two-dimensional image which is a photographed result of a solid standard model a shape and dimensions of which are already known is input (S1), and information concerning a three-dimensional space coordinate system in the visual field on the two-dimensional image is analyzed, by extracting characteristic points of a standard solid object in the input two-dimensional image (S2, S3). Thereafter, a two-dimensional image, which is the photographed result of a solid measuring object which is to be a measuring object by the same photographing point is input (S4). Thereafter, a coordinate value in a real space of each of the characteristic points is computed, by extracting the characteristic points of the measurement object in the two-dimensional image which is input and matching each of the extracted characteristic points with the three-dimensional space coordinate system provided previously (S6), and a recognition result of the measuring object is output (S8, 10, 12). |
