PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To automatically dub video by receiving the reservation of dubbing by its own device in the case of dubbing the video from its own device to a device of the other side or in the case of dubbing the video from the device of the other side to its own device in a video reproducing/recording device. SOLUTION: When a time to start reproduction stored in a memory has come, a CPU for performing output control confirms the operation state of the device of the other side (#12). When it is in the state of being capable of recording the video (YES in #13), the CPU transmits a video recording command to the device of the other side (#4), starts the reproduction of its own device (#15) and starts dubbing. When the device of the other side is not in the state of being capable of recording the video (NO in #13), the CPU performs dubbing starting and re-transmitting processing (#17) followed by the reproduction of its own device (#15) and starting dubbing.
