PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely realize the specifying processing of connection items and the connection processing of files causing the grammatical error, while reducing the work load on a user. SOLUTION: A CPU 2 in a computer system 1 extracts all items of a subject of connection of the same type and the similar name and length and displays the item in a list, when the item of a connecting target of a desired connection target file is selected by the user by means of a file editing function, and reads out the item data from the file including the item of a connection candidate, and connects the same to the connection item in the connecting target file, when the item of the connection candidate is selected from the list.
