摘要 PURPOSE: A heatable throttle device for an internal combustion engine is provided to heat the wall of a throttle plate hole evenly without cutting the intermediate chamber material of a throttle housing by forming a channel or cavity for flowing heating media in manufacturing the throttle apparatus. CONSTITUTION: In a device for processing mixture in internal combustion engines, the fluid flow streams through a flow cross section(1) of a hole(8). The fluid flow is regulated and supplied by means of an actuating throttle element, which is pivottable in a receiving hole(4) of a housing(2). Between a wall(9) of the hole and the outer circumference of the housing, hollow chambers(11) for a heating or cooling medium are formed in the housing. The hollow chambers extend in the housing in the flow direction of the fluid flow or perpendicular to the flow direction of the fluid flow. A method for producing the throttle valve housing of the throttle valve device in the intake system of the internal combustion engine comprises casting or injection-molding the throttle valve housing with hollow chambers integrally formed therein for the passage of the heating or cooling medium, and extending the hollow chambers in the flow direction of a fluid flow.
