PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a service technique which can enhance customer satisfaction and carefully manage customers according to service contents, based on the vehicle driving history of the driver. SOLUTION: A vehicle managing system 100 in a vehicle VE is equipped with a managing computer 101, various sensors 102 and storage media 104, 108. The storage media 104, 108 are retractably held in the vehicle VE, previously store vehicle ID information and personal ID information and can be brought out from the vehicle VE and carried by the driver. The managing computer 101 processes information from various sensors 102. The storage media 104, 108 automatically store information of the vehicle driving history of the driver (information of history of the vehicle). Service agencies, such as car rental companies, etc., can utilize the information of the vehicle driving history stored in the storage media 104, 108 and provide services, based on the vehicle driving history.
