PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing an aperture grill by a metal plating method of iron or ferroalloy containing a strong molybdenum for improving heat-resistant strength. SOLUTION: In the method of manufacturing the aperture grill comprising a multi-layer structure including an individual and this metal layer of an iron or a ferroalloy containing a molybdenum, by the metal plating method, this metal layer is acquired by adding a molybdate or a molybdenum-complex ion citrate to electrolytic iron plating solution mainly containing a ferrous chloride. As the aperture grill with enough heat-resistant strength is acquired by this, it is possible to protect from wire breaking due to blackening treatment after loading to a TV frame and to manufacture the aperture grill at high productivity.
