PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an application managing device, an application managing method, a recording medium, and a program, capable of installing a program in built-in apparatus, and starting the installed program, after shipping the built-in apparatus such as a copy machine, a printer, a multifunction printer(MFP) having a copy function/a printer function/a facsimile function, and a digital camera. SOLUTION: When a name 111 of a Service to be installed and program data 112 of the Service are transferred as a program installing instruction from a Web browser 110 to an InstallServlet 103 by an HTTP protocol, the InstallServlet 103 saves the program data 112 in an external memory 105 as a file, and registers a pass saving the program and the Service name 111 in a class path managing portion 202. |
