<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric connector for a circuit board having a small- size and a high-density and being appropriate for high-speed signals. SOLUTION: Housings 16, 18 to be mutually fitted have terminal receiving cavities 32, 132 and bus bar receiving cavities or concave parts 48, 148. The terminal receiving cavities 32, 132 have the first and the second legs 54, 154, 56, 156 and contacting legs 58, 158 with electroconductive layers 210, 230 of circuit boards 12, 14 nearly in parallel. If the both housings 16, 18 are fitted, the legs 54 to 158 and 58 to 154 of both terminals are engaged. Further, a bus bar 70 and a bus bar terminal 170 are retained in the bus bar receiving cavities 48, 148, and a contact pin 74 of the bus bar 70 is inserted into an opening 222 of the end face of the circuit board 12, and contacted with a ground conductor of the circuit board 12. The contacting legs 58, 158 are connected with the electroconductive layers 210, 230 of the circuit boards 12, 14.</p> |
