PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable setting for defining a detecting operation easily in the vicinity of a sensor without changing the configuration of a multiple optical axis photo electric sensor. SOLUTION: A light projecting part 1 and a light receiving part 2 comprise RS485 communication circuits 17 and 27, respectively. A branch connector 4 for relaying communication lines 6A, 6B and power supply lines 7A, 7B from an external power supply 5 and branching them is arranged between the light projecting part 1 and the light receiving part 2. A console 3 including a RS485 communication circuit 37 is detachably connected with the branch connector 4. |
