PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power conservation circuit for a semiconductor output circuit that can prevent a useless consumed current from being generated in a gate drive circuit or a switching circuit in an off-state and a switching state. SOLUTION: The power conservation circuit is configured with an output transistor(TR) 1, a power line 7, and the gate drive circuit 2 that outputs a drive signal 3, to drive the gate 11 of the output TR 1 on the basis of a control signal 5 controlling the gate 11 of the output TR 1, to the gate 11 via a drive signal transmission line 15, and a switch group. The switch group comprises a 1st switch 12 that is interposed between the power line 7 and the gate drive circuit 2 and a 2nd switch 18 that is connected to the drive signal transmission line 15 and an output side terminal. When the output TR 1 transits to an off- state and remains the off-state, the 2nd switch 18 connects the gate 11 and the output side terminal 8 to discharge electric charges stored in the gate 11 of the output TR 1 and to bring the gate drive circuit 2 to a floating state so as to avoid flowing of a dark current and to reduce the power consumption. |
