PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily perform numerical input and to easily and rapidly input characters with the few fixed number of strikes in an input device and an input method comprising keys in m-trains and n-lines. SOLUTION: This input device and input method have the key to which a consonant is assigned when the key is pressed in a first strike, and a character of an 'a' train of the consonant is assigned when a second strike is the same key, or a vowel is assigned when the key is pressed in the second strike after a key in the other train is pressed in the first strike. |
