PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a structure of retaining the magnets of a motor wherein damage to the magnets is prevented and further the magnets are securely retained at low cost. SOLUTION: A flat yoke 22 is provided on a flat side wall 23b thereof with a fastening projection 29 which regulates the position of a pressure spring 41 in the open-side thrust direction of the yoke. The spring body portion 42 of the pressure spring 41 is anchored to the fastening projection 29, and the position of the spring is thereby regulated in the open-side thrust direction of the flat yoke 22. Preferably, both ends 43 of the pressure spring 41 are extended from the upper end faces 31d and 32d of the magnets 31 and 32 on the open side of the yoke to the open side of the flat yoke 22, and further bent substantially in L shape toward the inner circumferential surface of the flat yoke 22 so that the ends are abutted against the upper end faces 31d and 32d of the magnets 31 and 32.
