PURPOSE: A brake master cylinder is provided to prevent accidents by securing a parking brake power and preventing a sudden start and a sudden acceleration and to improve the safety of a vehicle by reducing a vapour-lock event through the improvement of the hydraulic pressure in brake oil. CONSTITUTION: A brake master cylinder comprises a parking brake switch(320), a solenoid cylinder(110), an electromagnet(130), a solenoid piston(140) and an elastic member(150). The parking brake switch(320) detects the operation of a parking brake lever. The solenoid cylinder(110) is connected with a master cylinder(200) through a control hole(120). The electromagnet(130) is operated by opening and closing the parking brake switch. The solenoid piston(140) is moved upward and downward according to the operation of the electromagnet(130) by locating inside the solenoid cylinder and forming a fixing protrusion(141). The elastic member(150) is located between the electromagnet and the solenoid piston. The operation of the brake master cylinder is maintained according to the operation of a parking brake. Thereby, the sliding of a brake is prevented by securing the high parking brake power through the brake master cylinder.
