PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attain handling of video recording reservation and reproduction control for a broadcast program with a unified interface in a way that a viewer can easily handle them. SOLUTION: Recording reservation contents are set on the basis of attribute information of broadcast information described in a DCD through the operation of it, and the attribute information of the broadcast information is received just before the broadcast time of a reserved program. When the attribute information at reservation setting differs from the attribute information received just before, the reserved contents are changed into the received attribute information and a recorder records the broadcast information on the basis of the reserved contents and recording location information of the broadcast information on a recording medium and contents ID are recorded as a set.
