PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a personal authentication device, capable of providing suppression effects to unauthorized users and superiority in accuracy, without using a sequence which may be estimated from the attributes of a user. SOLUTION: The user photographs for itself by a photographing part 2. The image of the user itself is displayed on a display part 3. Since the image of the user itself is fetched into the device 1, a threatening effect can be expected to the unauthorized user. A specified portion can be extracted from the image. When the user has not photographed the image of the user himself, the portion will not be extracted and the access is determined as being unauthorized. |
