PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the service property of an image forming device management system by saving the time and labor for updating of control information of an image forming device used therefor. SOLUTION: Clients (201a, 201b-201n) of a service center 200 transmit data showing a version transmission request for firmware (control information) of a copying machine 1 to a communication control device 18, and the communication control device 18 which received the data acquires the version of the firmware and transmits it to the clients. The client who received the version reads the firmware of the latest version when it judges that the received version is not the latest version by the comparison of the received version with the version of the firmware in an external recording device 203, and transmits it to the copying machine 1 through the communication control device 18 to update the firmware. |
