PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an output device capable of easily outputting image data without re-transmitting the same data from a host when an error occurs in outputting the developed image data. SOLUTION: It is determined whether or not any registered error occurs while processing DATA1. If any error is present, the DATA1 is developed to image data (raster image 1), and saved in a secondary storage unit 517 with an access code (0001) added thereto. The allotted access code is notified to a host computer 101. It is determined whether or not image data corresponding to the access code is saved in the secondary storage unit 517. If image data is present, it is determined whether or not the error is already released from the added error information. If the error is released, image data corresponding to the access code is output. |
