PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fading prediction method that can solve defects of a conventional fading prediction method such as disabled prediction of fading when a mobile speed increases and that can solve deterioration in the prediction accuracy due to noise. SOLUTION: Past and present received signals are given to a FIR(Finite Impulse Response) filter comprising 30 stages or more to obtain a phase and an amplitude of a future received signal so as to predict fading in the fading prediction method. Coefficients of the FIR filter are elements of a vector PM obtained by an expression of pM=s(M+1) .[(SMNT.SMN)<-1> .SMNT], where S is a matrix, s is a vector, AT is transposed matrix A, A<-1> is an inverse matrix A, s(M+1) =(sM+1 ,1 , sM+1 ,2 ,..., sM+1 ,N), M is the number of stages of the FIR filter, t1 -tM+1 are signal observation times, si ,j =exp(jωj ti ), and ω1-ωN are setting values of Doppler frequencies. |
