<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system and a method, capable of reducing load on passengers by storing the information on transfer stations, trains, and electric trains in a boarding district in a cell phone, so that the information can be utilized to automatically calculate the fare at fare adjustment. SOLUTION: This fare calculation system comprises a means for transmitting by radio transmission, via-information indicating that a passenger is located at present at a specific station or train to the passenger located in the specified station or train, a means of receiving the via-information transmitted by the means, a means of specifying the route taken by passenger, based on the via- information received from the means, and a means for calculating the fare for a specific route by this means.</p> |
