PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a piezoelectric transformer inverter which can obtain a predetermined operation in an environment of a storing magnetic field, and is small and light. SOLUTION: The piezoelectric transformer inverter is used in an environment of a strong magnetic field. It comprises a drive circuit 6 including a switching device 6a which switches corresponding to an input oscillation signal, an air core choke coil 8 (called coil hereinafter) which an input voltage Vi is applied to and the drive circuit is connected with, a layered piezoelectric transformer (called piezoelectric transformer) whose primary electrodes are connected between the coil and the drive circuit 6. In the piezoelectric transformer inverter, the inductance of the coil 8 matches the value based on the capacitance C of the primary side of the piezoelectric transformer 1, the drive circuit 6 shapes the waveform of the input voltage Vi by resonating the coil 8 and the primary of piezoelectric transformer 1 corresponding to the switching of the switching device 6a, and the layered piezoelectric transformer 1 is driven on the voltage with the shaped waveform. |
