PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a TFT liquid crystal panel in which the uniformity of the gray scale due to the viewing angle characteristics of the gray scale or the wavelength dispersion of light can be avoided. SOLUTION: An offset voltage is applied on a pixel electrode 14 by the capacitance coupling through a storage capacitance 15 by changing the voltage on the gate signal line 11 among at least four potentials including the on and off potentials, and the size of the storage capacitance 15 is made to mutually differ for every specified number of rows or columns.
