<p>PURPOSE: A method for controlling a nonvolatile semiconductor memory system is provided to improve the stability of operation when the insertion/ejection of a memory card is carried out. CONSTITUTION: According to the method for controlling a memory system using a storage medium, which is inserted into an electronic apparatus via a connector to add a memory function thereto, the storage medium has ground terminals, power supply terminals, control terminals and data input/output terminals. And the connector has a function of being sequentially connected to each of the terminals. When the storage medium is inserted into the connector, the ground terminals and control terminals of the storage medium are connected to corresponding terminals of the connector before the power supply terminals and data input/output terminals of the storage medium are connected to corresponding terminals of the connector.</p> |
