<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for connecting cut ends of existing earth conductors allowing connecting works for the existing cut earth conductors to be done after an insulation deterioration diagnostic test and preparation works for an insulation deterioration diagnostic retest more easily than conventional, and preventing shortening of the existing earth conductors every time the insulation deterioration diagnostic test is performed. SOLUTION: This device for connecting cut ends 1 is formed by a connecting jig 2 to electrically connect the existing cut earth conductors 41, and two covers 3, 4 to cover the jig 2 and the conductor 41. The covers 3, 4 have an engaging protruding part 16 and an engaging recessed part 21 respectively at end parts 15, 20 of extendable cylindrical bodies 14, 19 and have fixing means 17, 22 for fixing to the conductor 41 at the other ends. The part 16 and the part 21 are detachably engaged with each other.</p> |
