PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light source device of good light distribution characteristic by making the illuminating light incident to an incident end surface of a light guide efficiently. SOLUTION: This light source device 1 reflects and condenses light, which is produced by a high frequency AC power supplied from a high frequency power supply 6, on an inner part of a reflective coated film 3, and the device 1 has an electrodeless lamp 4 which outputs the illuminating light condensed from an aperture 2 (opening) formed on the reflective coated film 3 and a light guide 8 which conducts the illuminating light output from the electrodeless lamp 4 to desired illuminating member. The light source device 1 is constituted so that the incident end surface 8a of the light guide 8 is arranged opposite on a path 7 of the illuminating light output from the electrodeless lamp 4. |
