PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To lengthen life of a battery pack of control-valve-type lead storage batteries. SOLUTION: The battery pack is made by fixing a plurality of the batteries in piles in a metal frame such that the frame covers all faces but the fronts of the batteries, and by fixing side by side a plurality of such frames housing the batteries. On fixing the frame, clearances are provided outside of one or both the frame sides that contact the longer sides of the batteries.
