PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent deformation of a terminal fittings. SOLUTION: On a wall face opposing to a bulb insertion hole 22 of the socket main body 21, a pair of terminal fittings 30 are mounted, and at respective terminal fittings 30, a contact piece 32 to contact with a contact point 14 installed at a base part 12 of a wedge base bulb 10 is formed in the downward tilting direction, and a locking piece 33 to be locked to a slipping off prevention protrusion 15 is formed in the upward tilting direction, respectively being cut-erected from a substrate 31. As the upper end part of this substrate 31 is diagonally bent inward, a covering part 40 to cover a clearance between the tip of the locking piece 33 and the substrate 31 is formed. Even if the base part 12 is tiltingly inserted, the insertion into the clearance is suppressed by being hit to the covering part 40, thereby bending deformation of the locking piece 33 to the inside exceeding the elastic limit is prevented.
