摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotational angular velocity controller of a disk motor of an optical disk device in which the normal recording or reproducing operation is attained by making the rotational angular velocity of the optical disk constant in terms of the linear velocity even though the mechanical dispersion or the dispersion of the optical disk is in existence. SOLUTION: When the gain of the control signal of the disk motor is set by a control means 8 for the rotational angular velocity of disk motor, the jitter amount of a synchronization signal is detected by a jitter detecting means 7 from the synchronization signal which is extracted from a signal outputted by an optical head 2 and a recording/reproducing reference signal produced by a means for producing the recording/reproducing reference signal. Then the gain in the control signal of the disk motor is set so that the jitter amount of this synchronization signal is minimized.
