PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method to be able to contrive a reduction in costs by decreasing the number of parts and assembly processes in the production method of the magnetic heads of some tracks which some magnetic heads consisting of being connected each single pair of magnetic core half bodies are provided adjacent to the track width direction. SOLUTION: For example, a core material 11 with the shape of which some magnetic core half bodies 1 are connected to the track width direction is formed by press working plate materials consisting of high permeability magnetic materials. Then a process after which the core material 11 is positioned to be fixed to the core support 2, for example, some core half bodies 1 are divided by removing a connection part 11a connecting some core half bodies of the core material 11 in the last process grinding the magnetic recording medium sliding surface of a magnetic head.
