PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a key switch which can cope with the thinning by lowering the height of a key top, assures good feeling and reliable switching in key operation by preventing unnecessary horizontal movement of link members, and can realize good key operability while keeping a large key stroke without hindering the lowering operation of the key top. SOLUTION: While slide locking parts 28, 28 for slidably locking pins 14a, 14b at the lower free end of a second link member 5 are arranged in a holder member 7, a stopper 31 for being abutted with pin 14a, 14b in the non-depressed state of the key top 2 is arranged to restrict the lifting position of the key top 2 in the non-depressed state, and both end of the first link member 4 and the second link member 5 are formed so as to have a thinner thickness than that of each central part in a side view.
