PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical disk recording apparatus which can perform an OPC(optimum power control) treatment without any problem under any conditions. SOLUTION: The optical disk recording apparatus includes a central processing device 8 which performs a trial writing in a trial writing region of a recording disk by varying stepwise laser power, and which obtains the optimum laser power at the time of recording data on the recording disk on the basis of the result of the trial writing, in which the central processing device 8 includes a laser power calculating means 12 which obtains the optimum laser power on the basis of the result of the trial writing. |
