PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device and a method for Image processing which can reduce user's stress caused by a long image processing time and obtain an image that satisfies the user in the shortest time. SOLUTION: In a constitution which processes an image by repetitive calculation wherein processing procedures are repeated, an image which is being processed is displayed by a display means at predetermined intervals.
