PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication terminal for preventing a third party from knowing an arrival of a confidential image before an designated receiver views it. SOLUTION: The communication terminal comprises a line connection unit 7 for connecting to a communication line 15, an image memory 4 for storing image data, and communication management memory 3b for storing communication management data. Furthermore, it comprises a controller 1 for preventing communication management data relating to received image data which is confidential from being outputted until at least the received image data is outputted.
