PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To present information which indicates the degree of deterioration in an amplifier, when a non-linear characteristics are compensated in the amplifier. SOLUTION: A distortion-detecting part 15 detects a distortion component in the amplifier from the input signal and the output signal of the amplifier; and a distortion compensating part 17 obtains distortion compensating amount, based on the distortion component detecting result and compensates the distortion of the input signal of the amplifier, based on the distortion compensating amount. In this case, the distortion compensating amount to be used in the compensating part 17 is registered in a compensation table 20, and the distortion compensating amount registered in the table 20 is previously registered in a monitor compensation table 22; a compensation monitor part 21 compares the distortion compensating amount registered in the compensation table 20 with the distortion compensated amount registered in the monitor compensation table 22 and outputs the difference; and the degree of deterioration in the amplifier is judged based on the monitor output.
