SOLUTION: An image forming system comprises at least one of low-speed color printers 102 and 108, a high-speed color printer 105, a high-speed black-and- white printer 106, and a printer of a high-speed black-and-white composite printer 104 having a line for transmitting the self-diagnosis result and at least one printing device having no line on the same network NT, the printing device acquires upgrading information of a driver for each model from a connection of a utility software for checking the model on the same network and the kind of the driver necessary therefor to a CSS center 111 of the network, and the driver of new version is downloaded when upgrading is performed from the present version, and stores in the printing device. |
