PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a semiconductor device capable of changing a circuit operation without changing all connection information between internal circuits and elements, and rewriting a circuit which can shorten time and effort required for a circuit rewriting. SOLUTION: In the semiconductor device capable of rewriting the circuit by changing connections between elements, an element isolation region is divided into a plural of blocks 3-1 to 3-3 by a reconfiguration control clock 1, and the rewriting of the circuit between elements of each block can be independently performed from other blocks.
