PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a unit or the like that can easily and surely store data used by a portable terminal such as a mobile phone and re-enter the data. SOLUTION: The data management unit 5 includes a memory means 7 that stores data sent from a portable terminal 1, a transmission means that transmits the data stored in the memory means 7 to the portable terminal in response to a data transmission request command from the portable terminal 1, a conversion necessity discrimination means that discriminates whether or not conversion of data is required depending on a model of the portable terminal 1, and a data conversion means that converts data to be sent into data corresponding to the portable terminal 1 of a transmission destination when the conversion necessity discrimination means discriminates that the conversion is required. When the conversion necessity discrimination means discriminates that the conversion is required, the transmission means transmits the data converted by the data conversion means.
