PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a head slider with excellent impact resistance by constituting a disk device so that the head slider is rotated in the pitch direction when impact force acts on the disk device from the outside, and to provide a head supporting part and the disk device using the slider. SOLUTION: In the disk device, a medium counter surface confronted to a disk is formed so that rotation of the head slider is generated in the pitch direction at a state that a positive pitch angle is held by defining a position with prescribed distance from a position of a point of action of load force to energize the head slider in the disk direction outside an air outflow end part of the head slider when the impact force acts on the head slider from the outside as a fixed point, a value of >=750 G is obtained as an impact resistance value by forming the shape of the surface to face the medium in which a ratio between distance Lo of the fixed point and length Ls of the head slider becomes as range from 0.5 to 2 and the large capacity, small-sized and thin disk device is made possible to be mounted on a portable device.
