PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical disk device which can restrain unstable tracking control and off-track caused by the influence of adjacent tracks. SOLUTION: In order to make a recording and reproduction by irradiating an optical disk with a light beam, a tracking error signal detecting part which shows whether the beam scans the center of a recording track, a controlling part which controls an actuator so that the error may be zero, a storing part which stores the results obtained by detecting and learning the amplitude of a wobble or land prepit with a detector on the inner circumference side and a detector on the outer circumference side, respectively, before a usual recording or reproduction, as the off-track correction target value, a comparing part which computes the remainder between the target value and the present value and a impressing part which impresses the offset corresponding to the remainder to the tracking error signal are provided. By this, the off-track correction can be made in any recording condition.
