PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system, a method, and a service for correction of a photographic image, capable of easily and naturally correcting only the expression of a face, without injuring the identity of a subject. SOLUTION: This photographic image correction system at least comprises means 10a and 10b for converting, before storage, an original photo, for which a user desires to correct image and a reference photograph of the same user photographed by a specified expression into digital image data with a scanner; a means for extracting the specified portion of the face of the user from the digital image data on these photographs, a means 12 for comparing the extracted portions to each other; a means 13 for assuring an interchangeability by applying a correction to the portion of the reference photograph, a means 14 for inserting, before correction; and the specified portion of the reference photo into the corresponding portion of the original photograph. The expression of the face can be corrected easily and naturally, while assuring the identity of the user by replacing the specified portions of the eyes and mouth. |
