PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging device capable of realizing a service operation of a better efficiency of a maintenance of each constituting component of the device. SOLUTION: As respective constituting components necessary for the maintenance, a present number-of-times-of-working counter 201, useful number of times 202, a historical updating date 203 of previous time, number-of-times setter 204 for updating the hystory, and an area for recording historical information 205 of the number of times of working, are prepared in non-volatile memory. The counter 201 and the information 205 are all cleared to a value '0'. At the durable number of times 202, a specified value of the durable number of times of each component is set. At the updating date 203, a present date is set at a factory delivery time. At the setter 204, the existed value of the number of updating lapsing days of each component is set. When the imaging device operates to image, whether the respective components are used or not is determined. When used, a number-of-times counter is set to '+1'. |
