PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a controller for a permanent magnet motor capable of synchronously controlling, even when the number of the pair of magnetic poles of the permanent magnet motor is not the integral multiple of the number of the repetition of the rotating phase signal for each one rotation. SOLUTION: The controller is provided with a first signal conversion means which generates the magnetic pole phase signal of a rotator based on the rotating phase signal obtained by detecting the rotation of the output shaft of the permanent magnet motor, and converts the rotating phase signal into the rotating angle signal in proportion to a rotation angle by each one rotation of the rotor of the eternal magnet motor for synchronously controlling the permanent magnet motor corresponding to the magnetic pole phase signal, and a second signal converting means which converts the rotating angle signal into the magnetic pole phase signal to repeat the same number of times as the number of pairs of magnetic poles of the permanent magnet motor. |
