<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a simulation system which makes up a model using objects for each functions of devices and employs a discrete event model, capable of being readily edited by correcting only functions in the case of constructing and correcting a program. SOLUTION: The discrete event control system is composed of an input section 11, into which data relating to the simulation is input, a modeling section 12 which constructs a simulation model on the basis of the data, and a simulation section 13 which carries out the simulation on the basis of the simulation model and the data; the modeling section 12 makes up an individual object representing each function of plural devices on a production line and a common object, representing a common process for the plural devices; at least two devices among the plural devices cooperate with each other and carry out the common object or the individual object; and the simulation section 13 carries out the simulation of the production process, using the individual object and the common object.</p> |
