PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication terminal which can judge whether or not restart of downloading is possible with no need to connect to a server, offering a reduced communication cost reduced communication traffic, and improved data downloading efficiency. SOLUTION: In a download suspending process, the communication terminal stores a terminal ID of a portable phone which has been used and a download ID of a download which has been suspended in a memory card MC as download managing information and, at the same time, retains the terminal ID and download ID in the portable phone. When downloading is restarted on the portable phone, the terminal ID and download ID stored in the memory card MC are collated with the terminal ID of the portable phone and download ID retained in the portable phone. Only when both IDs are in agreement, the communication terminal judges the restart of downloading is possible and accesses a contents server TS and executes control of restarting download. |
