PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a photography support device which sets the optimum photographic conditions for a subject in an electronic still camera through a communication network. SOLUTION: This system is equipped with a receiving means which receives a subject image picked up by a photographing device, a photographic condition setting means which sets photographic conditions suitable for the photography of the subject image, and a transmitting means which transmits photographic condition setting information showing the set photographic conditions to the photographing device having picked up the subject image.
