PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information transmission system that can realize an inexpensive information providing service by predicting increase/decrease in information from a customer such as an inquiry and transmitting information such as frequently asked questions in advance and a notice from a broadcast center to a reception terminal and to provide a monitor, a reception terminal, an information transmission method, an information transmission program and a computer-readable recording medium for having the information transmission program recorded thereon. SOLUTION: An information monitor 210 monitors the number of registration of keywords per unit time entered from information input terminals 205 to 207 and registered in an information central management device 211 and transmits a notice for information transmission or transmission stop to an information extract device 212 when the number of the registered keywords per unit time reaches a prescribed number. The information monitor 210 may monitor data and time information.
